I was raised in Holland and lived there until i was 16 years old. In 2009 i moved to the United States of America. I have lived here ever since.
My mother is Dutch and my father is American. I was raised with both Dutch and English and speak both fluently. I use both languages every day, however English is my most used language. I enjoy being able to fluently speak both languages as it provides me with more opportunity for communication.

This never ending road I'm walking, Has shown me many things already But still my heart wont stop taking How I should keep on going, steady.
But when the clouds obscure my sight And I get kicked even though I'm down My heart reminds me to fight Or in this pool of life I might drown.
So as I sit here and take the abuse I don't scream or shout Because I know that this is to no use It will not get me out.
I smile and laugh when I am being asked To do what other people want of me. Because they don't know I'm being trapped And only death can set me free.
There is no study or test that shows How this consumes me inside But every day the sadness grows And you people keep it alive.
Now I don't want to put the blame on you Because part of it is mine as well All I'm asking is for you too Not believe me when I say I'm swell.
But what if there is no tomorrow? How will we set things right? How will we get rid of our sorrow? And be strong enough to fight?
