Please let me introduce myself. I am a conscientious, hard-working and experienced translator and International Development Manager educated to Master Degree level in the United Kingdom.
My translation clients are normally International Aid Organisations, Civil Society Organisations, Advocacy Networks, Churches and Christian publishing houses. A large proportion of my translations have been published and widely distributed in Europe, Africa and Latin America. |

My friends and work colleagues say that I am highly regarded by those I work with because of my professionalism, dedication and commitment to help others grow, develop and meet their objectives.
My working languages are:

Portuguese is my mother tongue but due to my family background and the fact that I was brought up in a trilingual environment, I also have a near native command of the English and Spanish languages. I have also studied at graduate and post-graduate levels in Brazil and England since 1987.
My experience in translation and interpretation:
I have been working as a professional freelance translator and interpreter since 1994 on a part-time basis. Samples of my translation work, references and a clean CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) Certificate are available on request.
Many of my translations have been published and widely distributed in Europe, Africa and Latin America, including training manuals, academic and discussion papers, management and consultancy reports, country strategies and profiles, partnership contracts, website contents, newsletters, formal and informal correspondence.
