I also regularly assisted at installations. • Ontheminute.com in Bergen, Norway (2001) For this website, with main office in Norway, I began as Benelux-writer but soon took responsibility for the news section as a whole. Here I also learned to manage a team of co-writers. • Global Sports Media BV in The Hague, Netherlands (2002-Present) Global Sports Media is the mother company of Soccerway.com. Here as well, I started as writer covering the Netherlands and Belgium, before being promoted to main responsible for the news section in 2003. In the past six years, I have worked with a large amount of journalists from many countries, from Argentina to Russia. Apart from managing these I submit several articles a day: Short previews and reviews, LIVE reports and sometimes a more in-depth article. At this company I learned to deal with time pressure and deadlines. This is particularly useful during the hectic moments of a European or World Championship, or any other major tournament. In 2007 I mostly focused on submitting players and other statistics to the site's large database, and I improved that procedure by building my own search system using PHP. • Cyclingpost.com in Cocentaina, Spain (2005-Present) This is a website created by myself, in order to broaden my horizon in sports. The site soon became successful and attracted a few thousand visitors in its best days. In 2007 I decided to stop the news section and allow the site to focus on a selfmade cycling game. This is currently still running. • Colombiareports.com in Medellín, Colombia (2008-Present) Although I spent most of the year living in Spain, I also spend three months a year in Bogotá, Colombia. As result of my interest in Colombia I started writing for Colombiareports.com. I still live here. In 2006 I married a Colombian woman in Colombia. Every year we leave to my wife's birth country for about three months. This explains my interest in that country. I have always been interested in the dynamics of online journalism. This is after all the fastest medium that currently exists and articles have to be available as soon as possible.
