Posted - 10/23/2008 : 11:41:13 I don't know how many of you are as excited about the upcoming U.S. presidential election as I am, but I can't wait to see what happens! I missed the absentee ballot deadline so I won't be taking part this election, but I'd love to hear what your opinions are! |

Posted - 11/06/2008 : 11:34:20 I have no idea what to expect! I'm hoping that lots will improve, not only at home but also abroad, as far as American relations go. Obama has a lot of his plate now, and like it's been said in the news, I figure he and his cabinet will focus on the main problems America faces (such as the war and the financial crisis) before focusing a lot of attention on the "lesser" problems. Regardless, I'm excited to see what he brings to the table! |

Posted - 10/25/2008 : 05:14:08 I suppose I'm one of the people who are anti-Bush. Although, I think Obama really represents what needs to change in America. Obviously it's hard to tell what's the truth and what are just campaign lies, but I think regardless of the political "promises," he's the sort of politician that we need right now in the U.S. McCain is too conservative for me and I don't generally agree on everything that he says. Despite that, there are so many problems in America right now (racism, crime, bad education) that need to be focused on and I think if Obama becomes president, he would be setting a good example for what can be accomplished in the U.S. Oh - I hope he wins! |

Posted - 10/24/2008 : 07:40:31 Well, I don't know, here in Spain, we do not get much information about that. What, I think, is that he is getting a backing from all the anti-Bush people, which I have my own thoughts about. But, is the anti-Bush feeling enough to be capable of leadering the dominant World power? I guess, time will tell.

Posted - 10/24/2008 : 04:45:55 Hm.... yes, agree on that. Will be interesting to see the outcome, am very curious about it. Obama did a good job until now, but if he becomes President, things will be a whole lot different for him. It will be key for him to have a good team surrounding him, but does he have a good one in place yet? |

Posted - 10/24/2008 : 04:32:35 Well... these days, I think Obama is the best of the 'two', but ... I don't think he will have the support he needs in the long run.
