My name is Dr. Tina Berkovits and I am a native German, living in Israel since 1973. I am fluent in German and English on mother tongue level. I have been translating and interpreting medical lectures from Hebrew to English when studying nursing in the Ichilov hospital and after that in the Israeli College of Natural Health Sciences, where I studied from 1991-1995. I have since then translated medical texts and thesis papers of students from the Leslie college, movie scripts, and philosophical texts, legal documents pertaining to building contracts, letters of various kinds, medical documents and medical articles, also web contents and websites reqiring knowledge of medical and paramedical issues. My field of expertise is the medical field, including psychological and psychiatric documents as well as books and scripts. I am apt in editing and proofreading German and English writings and have worked in this field since the year 2000. In the past I have been a dancer and am now a multidisciplinary therapist and educator, and in those capacities have worked and taught till today. I have also acquired a 120 hour TEFL certificate which allows me to teach English worldwide. I work as a therapist and translator.
